Mike Wanner, Vice President of U.S. Operations Mr. Wanner joins Medicago U.S.A. as Vice President of U.S. Operations and will lead the Company's U.S. expansion efforts. He was previously President and CEO of Abeome, a biotechnology company developing therapeutic and diagnostic monoclonal antibodies. Mr. Wanner served for over 11 years as CFO for Merial and Rhone Merieux, Inc. (RMI), one of the world's leading animal health companies, where he was involved in the construction and management of a large scale vaccine production facility in the U.S.
Todd Talarico, Ph.D., Sr. Director of Industrial Process Dr. Talarico previously spent over 8 years as Sr. Director of Development for AlphaVax and was responsible for scale-up and purification processes to support manufacturing operations including characterization activities for virus and process intermediates. Prior to AlphaVax, he was Director of Product Development for Apex Bioscience and received his Ph.D. in Microbiology from NC State University and holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Penn State.
David Dumers, Director of QA Mr. Dumers joins Medicago after serving as Sr. Manager of Quality/Regulatory Compliance for Pfizer Biotech/Pharm SCI R&D (formerly Wyeth). He was Site Head for their Sanford/RTP locations for Quality Assurance Compliance and had oversight for cGMP compliance multi-scale/multi-product R&D manufacturing facility and analytical development laboratory.
